Lunch meat making a comeback?

This old-school deli meat is having its moment on TikTok, and we're not mad about it. Turns out the trend traces back to Bourdain, who called a simple mortadella sandwich one of his favorite things to eat after a trip to São Paulo - people are just now rediscovering it. We grew up on lunchmeat, so of course, we put the GirlCarnivore twist on it.

Grapefruit juice, lime, and blanco tequila with a citrus-salt rim - bright enough to cut through the burrata and rich mortadella, and the salt rim plays off the Calabrian chili oil instead of fighting it.
